This update of Wolfgang Werner on Namibian trade unions and labour action is a valuable follow-on to the coverage of Namibian trade unions by Brian Wood in South African Labour Bulletin, Vol 12 No 4, May/June 1987. The update is based almost entirely on Namibian press reports. The Bulletin hopes to print a Namibian Update at regular intervals in future.
