Samir Amin has been a leading figure in African development since the 1960’s. His extensive writings deal with the dynamics of the global economic system and its effects on politically and economically marginalised regions such as Africa. Amin recently visited South Africa on a fact finding mission. He spoke to Labour Bulletin writer, Malcolm Ray.
