What should the trade union movement do about NOSA?

NOSA is funded by the Workers’ Compensation Fund. Yet there is no evidence that NOSA makes work safer. It keeps no meaningful statistics. Its star-grading audits are superficial. Its education and training programmes are surely limited by its loss control perspective. Time for a change? Pete Lewis argues it is, and outlines a number of policy options.
